The Amy Biehl Foundation USA would like to thank Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham and Senators Tom Udall and Martin Heinrich and everybody on their teams for their efforts
in ensuring a permanent home and great future for The Amy Biehl High School in Albuquerque. This is very appropriate in continuing Amy's legacy.
From Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham on December 14, 2015:
"Amy Biehl High School now has a permanent home, and I am proud to have played a role in passing legislation to allow for the purchase of the old Downtown Post Office. I was touched to hear Amyís mother, Linda Biehl, talk this evening about her daughterís selflessness and her commitment to the victims of apartheid in South Africa. Iím grateful that we have a school in our community that reflects the spirit and activism of someone like Amy Biehl. We are all better off, as a result."
